ABOUT US

Hungry Mutts is based in Chesapeake Beach, MD. We are an operation of two and create each feeder from scratch – from selecting the wood, to cutting and painting it, adding the finishing coat of epoxy resin and shipping it.

We are firm believers that all animals deserve the best. That is why we are certain you are going to love our feeders. Our paintings are pretty cool too!

Thank you for visiting our site.

ABOUT OUR PRODUCT
Each of our feeders is individually crafted and painted. No two will ever look exactly alike. It is because of this special attention that each product receives that we are able to guarantee the quality of each product. You will not be disappointed.

Each dog feeder is cut, sanded and then painted. No need to worry about water drops, drool or food spills - all of our feeders are topped with epoxy resin. This is the same stuff used on boats. It's durable and looks good too!. We do not, however, recommend the feeders be used outdoors.

The stainless steel bowls are dishwasher safe.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
We recommend taking the bowls out once per week and wiping the entire feeder down with a damp cloth. Weekly care will prevent water mineral deposit build up and add to long lasting appeal.

WHAT SIZE DOES YOUR PET NEED?
The best way to determine a good height for your pet is to measure from the ground to tip of your pet's elbow. Then, select a feeder that is at the same height or lower.

Example: If your pet's elbow measures 7 inches, you should purchase a feeder with 6 inch or shorter legs. Feeders taller than the pet's elbow may not to be a good match. The pet's chest may get in the way as your pet uses the feeder, especially if your pet has a short neck. Also, you will note that different feeders come with different size bowls. You will also want to take this into account when selecting your feeder size.
